So apart from the usual eating of tomatoes we have also made some green tomato pickles.
The colour of the green tomatoes when sliced was amazing and I am sure my photos will not do it justice.

It was a 2 day process as the tomatoes need soaking in brine overnight but such an easy recipe.

Now to find a yummy roasted tomato relish.

Wow Ellie that's awesome! I require photos of your vegie patch please so I can have patch envy. Mine is v. small, and I have a feeling we'll get a few meals out of our produce, not 100's!
PS - get a worm farm. Those buggers eat up a storm, and make you great fertiliser in the meantime!
Wow they look amazing! Yum.
oooo I have a relish fetish and this looks great. we are just putting our tomatoes in now ... looking forward to this time.
Wow that is impressive. That is a veggie gardeners dream having tomato plants sprout without having to do any work expect throw away your food scraps. They look great.
